Gelugpa School
 

    The Buddhist International Alliance (BIA)
    is a network of Buddhist monastic, education and charity organizations headed by His Eminence Khejok Rinpoche of the Gelugpa tradition within Tibetan Buddhism. Its root monastery is Dhe-Tsang Monastery situated in the Gyalrong district of eastern Tibet, which is known as the Sichuan Province nowadays.

    Kurukulla Center
    offers regular teachings and retreats in the Gelug Tradition of Tibetan Buddhism with resident teacher, Venerable Geshe Tsulga. Founded by Lama Thubten Yeshe.

    Gyudmed Tantric Monastery
    one of five major learning monasteries of the Gelugpa School of Tibetan Buddhism. Founded in 1433 by Je Sherab Sengey, a disciple of Lama Tsongkhapa.

    Gyalwa Gyatso Buddhist Center
    provides teachings in Buddhism in the tradition of Je Tsongkhapa.

    Loseling Institute
    North American seat of Drepung Loseling Monastery, an institution of the Gelugpa order.

    The Gelug Tradition
    The Kadampa tradition founded by Atisha was the direct source of inspiration for the development of the Gelug tradition founded by Je Tsongkhapa (1357-1419).

    Tibetan Buddhism - Gelugpa Lineage
    Gelugpa Lineage Lama Tsong Khapa, who was more popularly known as Jetsun Tsong Khapa or Je Rinpoche in Tibet, was born in 1357, in the Tsong Kha region of Amdo province, Eastern Tibet. He was the founder of the Gelugpa tradition.
